Facilities & Services at De Waterkant House
5 en-suite bedrooms
Elegant bedrooms with attention to detail. Our 5 boutique suites each offer a tranquil retreat from the bustling city outside. Each suite is furnished with a mix of carefully selected antiques and all the modern conveniences for the most luxurious stay. All the bedrooms have air-conditioning for the hot summers and down feather duvets, high quality linen and fluffy blankets for the colder Cape Town winters.
Lounge
Fall into deep sofas and classic armchairs adorned with locally sourced linens and cottons. In Winter, the original fireplace, with a fender rumoured to have belonged to the English poet, Tennyson, features roaring fires perfect for meaningful conversations with friends or curling up with a good book from our library.
Terrace
The wrap-around terrace is sunny and makes the ideal spot for al-fresco dining amongst potted citrus trees year-round. Freshly made treats emerge from the pizza oven and braai upon request. Get in touch for any catering needs or try it yourself!
